A Nostr Compass inspirációja: **Bitcoin Optech** - hosszú évek óta a Bitcoin technikai tudás színvonalát képviseli.

**Küldetés:** Fejlesztők, relay operátorok és építők tájékoztatása a Nostr protokoll fejlődéséről.

## 📖 Nostr Primer (What is Nostr?)

**Nostr = Notes and Other Stuff Transmitted by Relays**

- Decentralized protocol for social networking and messaging
- No central server, no company control, no single point of failure
- Users own identity through cryptographic keypairs
- Independent relay servers (anyone can run)

**How it works:**
- Keypair: nsec (private) + npub (public)
- Private key signs "events"
- Public key = identity
- Events sent to relays → store and forward

**Why it matters:**
- Censorship resistance (relay diversity)
- Portability (identity works across any app)
- Interoperability (all clients speak same protocol)
- No algorithm, no ads, no data harvesting

**Ecosystem today:**
- Microblogging, long-form content, DMs, marketplaces, livestreaming
- Clients: Damus (iOS), Amethyst (Android), Primal, Coracle, stb.
- Lightning integration = "zaps"
- NIPs = community-driven specifications
