A Nostr Compass inspirációja: Bitcoin Optech - hosszú évek óta a Bitcoin technikai tudás színvonalát képviseli.
Küldetés: Fejlesztők, relay operátorok és építők tájékoztatása a Nostr protokoll fejlődéséről.
Formátum: Minden szerda - NIP updates, release notes, development highlights, technical guidance.
📖 Nostr Primer (What is Nostr?)¶
Nostr = Notes and Other Stuff Transmitted by Relays
- Decentralized protocol for social networking and messaging
- No central server, no company control, no single point of failure
- Users own identity through cryptographic keypairs
- Independent relay servers (anyone can run)
How it works: - Keypair: nsec (private) + npub (public) - Private key signs "events" - Public key = identity - Events sent to relays → store and forward
Why it matters: - Censorship resistance (relay diversity) - Portability (identity works across any app) - Interoperability (all clients speak same protocol) - No algorithm, no ads, no data harvesting
Ecosystem today: - Microblogging, long-form content, DMs, marketplaces, livestreaming - Clients: Damus (iOS), Amethyst (Android), Primal, Coracle, stb. - Lightning integration = "zaps" - NIPs = community-driven specifications
